[Position Overview]

The Analytics Business Developer is responsible for:

·         Promoting Analytics to internal & Partners’ business departments

·         Identifying viable, high value opportunities to integrate analytics solutions into business processes

·         Quantifying the potential and effective value generated thanks to identified Analytics solution

·         Acting as a facilitator/translator between Analytics,  internal/Partners’, IT and Business experts

[Roles & Responsibilities]

       Promote - Communication

ü  Promotes Analytics initiatives globally within the company & towards partners,

ü  Manages local Analytics communication strategy.

       Identify - Business development

ü  Analytics awareness: Understands potential of Analytics by leveraging IT, data, predictive modelling & business cases to propose opportunities for implementation. Active member of  Data & Analytics Community,

ü  Analytics prospection: Promotes Analytics to internal & Partners’ business departments & identify opportunities. Develops and maintains closed relationships with business leaders, proactively suggesting ways in which data analytics may improve management decisions. Communicates insights & successes to senior leaders and business Partners,

ü  Analytics potential study &feasibility: Develops relationship with business & IT to identify where Analytics can be applied to maximum effect, quantifying upside potential and applying critical thinking to identify challenges around business readiness, data availability, and implementation.

       Quantify – Measurement

ü  Feasibility study: Estimates potential added value of Analytics projects in order to set up actions plans & prioritization process for the development of business cases,

ü  Implementation:  Measures impact after implementation through a regular monitoring,

ü  Promotion: Produces reporting to highlight results & performance to senior leaders/ExCom Sponsor.

       Act - Project Management

ü  Guarantees decision & prioritisation of the project (ExCom sponsor + project management).

ü  Provides business insight & subject matter expertise to the Analytics team.

ü  Supports teams with education around key business principles tied to their projects, and assistance in the setup of business hypotheses to be investigated during the Data Science project.
